This rich sun-dried tomato and garlic sauce provides a delightful Italian meal when combined with mushrooms and bacon and tossed through fettuccine.

Just Add...

To serve 4
  • 200g mushrooms
  • 150g bacon
  • 4 tbsp (140g) tomato paste
  • 200g fettuccine pasta
To serve 5-6
  • 300g mushrooms
  • 200g bacon
  • 6 tbsp (210g) tomato paste
  • 300g fettuccine pasta

All you need to do:

PREPARATION – 10 mins             COOKING – 15 mins
  1. Cook pasta according to packet instructions
  2. Heat oil in pan and cook sliced mushrooms and diced bacon for 3 minutes
  3. Add Italian Meal Base, tomato paste and 1/2 cup water. Stir and simmer uncovered for 3 minutes
  4. Add cooked pasta to pan and stir through
And try this finishing touch...
Garnish with parmesan cheese and/or add 100g of fresh baby spinach at Step 3. Mmmmm!
