Traditional Mushroom Bolognese with Italian Sausage

Ingredients

  • 6 thin Italian seasoned sausages
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 100g baby green beans
  • 1 jar DOLMIO Traditional Bolognese 550g - Mushroom
  • 2 tbsp shredded fresh sweet basil

Cooking Instructions

Place a large frying pan over medium - high heat, add sausages and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until cooked. Remove to a side plate allow to cool slightly before cutting sausages at a slight angle into pieces about 3cm long. Set aside.

Quarter and seed capsicum and thinly slice. Top and tail beans and cut into pieces about 3cm long.

Place the DOLMIO® sauce into the frypan and reduce the heat to low -medium. Add the capsicum and beans and cook for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are just tender. Return sausage to the frypan to heat through.

Stir though basil and serve with cooked spaghetti.
