Mussels with Red Wine

  • 2 kg black mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 jar DOLMIO Extra Red Wine & Italian Herb Pasta Sauce
  • 2 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley

Cooking Instructions

Heat oil in a large frying pan and sauté onion for about 3 minutes over a medium heat. Add DOLMIO® sauce and heat through. Add mussels and cook until the mussel shells have opened (about 6-8 minutes). Stir occasionally.

Add parsley and season with pepper.

Serve with crusty bread.

Note: Discard any mussels that do not open after cooking
