DOLMIO proudly supports Foodbank in Australia
DOLMIO is proud to partner with Foodbank to support people facing food insecurity across Australia. Through our Collaborative Supply Program with Foodbank, we’re donating jars of DOLMIO to help make sure Foodbank have a regular supply of delicious and healthy pasta sauce.
According to the Foodbank Hunger Report 2025(open in new tab), one in three Australian households (3.5 million people) experienced food insecurity in the past 12 months, while almost one in two single-parent households (46%) experienced severe food insecurity. Cost of living remains the number one concern for 91% of food insecure households, demonstrating the ongoing need for support programs to help alleviate hunger across the country.
Why Dolmio Supports Foodbank
At DOLMIO, we are passionate about food. We know the importance of meals shared with family and friends, and that they’re moments to be cherished.
We believe that the joy of connecting over food should be something everyone gets to enjoy. However, sadly an increasing number of Australians are regularly facing hunger. The Foodbank Hunger Report 2025(open in new tab) found that just 1 in 5 (21%) Australian households reporting that they are living comfortably on their current income, while more than 1 in 3 (36%) are finding it difficult or very difficult to make ends meet. Of particular concern is that 61% of food insecure households are severely affected, meaning they are compromising on nutrition, actively skipping meals or in some cases, going entire days without eating.
That’s why we’re working with Foodbank to help support the work they do to help people facing hunger through our Collaborative Supply Program with Foodbank.
What is the Foodbank Collaborative Supply Program?

One of the biggest challenges faced by Foodbank is a Surprise Chain of ad hoc donations which makes it difficult to plan for regular, nutritious deliveries to people facing food insecurity.
Foodbank’s world leading Collaborative Supply Program is designed to tackle this problem by providing a regular supply of dedicated products which can be sent to Foodbank as a predictable Supply Chain.
Our Collaborative Supply Program with Foodbank is made possible thanks to our generous ingredients and packaging partners who donate their products and services. This allows us to send Foodbank a predictable supply chain of products including DOLMIO Bolognese Sauce and DOLMIO Carbonara Sauce.
Five Years of Partnership through the Collaborative Supply Program
Our program with Foodbank started in 2021 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic with an ambition to help provide 600,000 meals to Australians in need. In 2022 we more than doubled that figure to 1.5 million meals, and in 2025 we delivered an incredible 4 million meals. In 2026 we are continuing our work with a new ambition to deliver 4.4 million meals to Australians across the country.
Through our partnership, we’re helping Foodbank to support its registered charities, 17 Food Hubs and Mobile Pantries across Australia.
